We are seeking an experienced Project Finance Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing financial management support and assistance for the execution of project works. This includes compiling and submitting on-time and accurate progress claims and cost reports.

This is an opportunity to work on a major construction project in Perth, AU, with a highly attractive salary package and site uplift on offer.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage project accounting activities, including cost tracking, invoicing and review project budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Analyze project financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project forecasting and reporting
  • Coordinate with corporate accounting to ensure accurate and timely project financial reporting
  • Review and approve project-related invoices, expenses, and payments
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for project stakeholders
  • Provide financial leadership and support to the project team
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in project accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Experience with project accounting software and ERP systems
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work on-site at the project location
