Test Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to develop and implement test strategies based on project requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in UI and API automation using Selenium (JAVA) & Playwright, with Rest Assured and Postman.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading test execution and defect management, as well as mentoring team members and contributing to QA proposals. A strong understanding of agile methodologies and version control tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement test strategies and plans based on project requirements
  • Lead test execution and defect management
  • Mentor team members and contribute to QA proposals
  • Implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in UI and API automation using Selenium (JAVA) & Playwright, with Rest Assured and Postman
  • Experience in creating robust, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks
  • API automation testing experience
  • Ability to independently develop and maintain automation frameworks
  • Experience with BDD/TDD using Cucumber, Serenity, Playwright-BDD
  • Scripting/development skills in JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.
  • Experience with code coverage tools like Jacoco, Sonar
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven, Gradle, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Proficiency with version control tools like GitHub, Bitbucket
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA, ALM, Rally
  • Experience leading remote automation teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
