About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Applications Trainer to join our team at Leidos. As a Clinical Applications Trainer, you will play a key role in delivering training and support for our clients in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training Development and Delivery
    • Develop and deliver instructor-led training (virtual and face-to-face) for clinical end users on our healthcare systems, with an emphasis on clinical decision making and patient care.
    • Plan, create, implement, and refine training frameworks, materials, and curriculum in collaboration with our training team.
    • Provide specialist training knowledge and apply this to provide clinically appropriate training for end users.
    • Support coordination of training planning, deliverables, and implementation.
    • Evaluate training delivery effectiveness and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Clinical Analysis and Support
    • Provide clinical expertise to inform solution development that is fit for purpose for the clinical end users, leveraging knowledge in clinical applications.
    • Support the design process, validation activities, and application configuration with a focus on clinical accuracy and usability.
    • Assist in customer-led business process change workshops and provide insights into contemporary clinical practices and governance.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Proactively engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project.
    • Liaise with design teams, testing teams, and the broader training team to support seamless implementation and user adoption.
Requirements
  • Experience in developing and delivering training plans and programs within a health environment or clinical information application context.
  • Experience in clinical analysis, including the design, implementation, and rollout of clinical applications.
  • Ability to work and liaise with the team remotely due to the organisational structure and the end user cohort being spread nation-wide.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent activities, while understanding and managing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Defence learning approaches is desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications in a clinical discipline (Nursing preferred).
