Health Educator Role

Key aspects of the Health Education Officer position include participating in service delivery, providing harm reduction interventions and health education to clients, as well as contributing to community education initiatives.

  • Collaborate with the Harm Reduction Program team to provide primary healthcare services.
  • Support community engagement through education projects and initiatives that expand and diversify the program.

Required skills and qualifications for this position include:

  • Relevant health qualifications and/or experience working with injecting drug users.
  • Understanding and commitment to the harm reduction approach.
  • Knowledge of contemporary approaches to addressing health issues affecting injecting drug users.
  • Current NSW Driver's License.
