Chapter Lead Role

As an Engineering Manager - Chapter Lead, you will lead a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a growth mindset and innovative ways of working.

  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams with a solid technical background in .NET.
  • Drive a true DevSecOps mindset, prioritising customer feedback and ensuring the team follows best practices.
  • Advocate for software engineering excellence (CI/CD, TDD/BDD, code reviews).
  • Provide technical direction on solution design, code quality, and system performance.
  • Design and implement complex software systems, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:

The Chapter Lead will oversee the development of high-quality software solutions, leading cross-functional teams and promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Technical leadership: Provide expert advice on technology, solution design, architecture, people leadership, and hiring.
  • Team management: Foster a growth mindset and innovative ways of working within the team.
  • Solution design: Design and implement complex software systems, ensuring security, scalability, and maintainability.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Cloud experience: AWS & Azure cloud experience.

Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs knowledge.

Solution design and technical conversation skills.

CI/CD pipeline operation and troubleshooting experience.

Infrastructure as code and automation capabilities.

Mentoring and coaching skills, influencing practices and mindsets.

Cross-functional collaboration and communication expertise.
