Senior Underwriter Transformation Lead

We're seeking a seasoned motor underwriter with strong commercial acumen and a digital mindset to lead our underwriting team. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the underwriting of complex motor portfolios, applying expert judgement and leveraging digital tools to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Drive growth and innovation in underwriting by collaborating with distribution partners, product teams, and fellow underwriters.
- Mentor others and contribute to the evolution of our underwriting frameworks.
To succeed in this position, you'll need:
- 6+ years of insurance experience, including motor underwriting and sales.
- A business degree or equivalent, with ANZIIF CIP Senior Insurance Qualification.
- Proven success in driving digital transformation or innovation within underwriting.
Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving digital transformation and innovation in underwriting. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of the insurance industry.
