Robotics Technician Opportunities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Robotics Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing service, repairs and improvements for robotic laboratory and sample preparation equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake breakdown and scheduled repairs to automated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot problems and work together with laboratory staff to achieve long-term solutions.
  • Analyze and identify areas of improvement in the plant and equipment and implement changes.
  • Undertake projects to improve the process and reliability of automated systems.
  • Integrate and implement preventative maintenance schedules to equipment and refine as required.
  • Document and analyze all work to improve workplace efficiency.

Qualifications:

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A qualified mechanical fitter with experience in production line/factory process control systems.
  • Previous experience with control systems in an industrial environment.
  • A good understanding of electro-mechanical and automated equipment.
  • Strong computer skills and experience in MS Excel.
