Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished Software Architectural Visionary to spearhead impactful software solutions, driving innovation and strategic growth. As a seasoned professional, you will lead the development of creative software solutions, leveraging expertise in Java 17 or higher, Spring boot, NoSQL Databases like Cassandra, relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, Sybase or MSSQL Server), Kafka, and Agile methodologies.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Solution Design and Execution: Develop innovative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture.
  • Community Engagement: Foster communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and adoption of new and leading-edge technologies.
  • Culture Enhancement: Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and equivalent required.
  • Expertise in hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Expert level Java application development experience using Java 17 or higher, Spring boot, NoSQL Databases like Cassandra, relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, Sybase or MSSQL Server), Kafka.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle. Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Cloud Native Experience: Practical cloud native experience.
