Job Description

As a senior domain architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing customized solutions for complex business challenges. You will work closely with stakeholders to define the desired outcome and prioritization of roadmap work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Map and discover business capabilities and products/services required for assigned domains.
  • Define strategy/roadmap for products and services for assigned domains.
  • Define products in conjunction with product owners.
  • Solution architecture (as needed) for targeted initiatives.
  • Ensure collection of services defined by domains delivers desired experience outcome.
  • Work with stakeholders to define desired outcome and prioritization of roadmap work.
  • Participate in new initiative level 2 triage.
Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate organization's future position on technology-related trends.
  • Outline organizational implications associated with major IT trends.
  • Create cohesive IT architecture applications for information and platforms.
  • Produce solution outlines and migration paths for moving from baseline state to target state.
  • Oversee compliance of IT architecture principles for an organization.
  • Direct discussion of issues and considerations for adopting open architecture.
  • Consult on planning, integrating and migrating IT architecture.
  • Describe contents of deliverables for a specific phase of solution architecture.
  • Develop, maintain, communicate and provide IT architecture solutions based on business and technical requirements.
  • Direct high-level enterprise information technology architecture.
  • Provide insight into IT architecture performance measurements.
  • Assess and communicate business costs, benefits, risks and issues for alternative solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience with domain architecture, roadmap development and solution architecture.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and building consensus around a shared vision.
  • Experience in teaching/educating/coaching/mentoring stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard frameworks and notations.
