Enterprise Architecture Professional

This role involves leading strategic architectural leadership across Business Banking. As a seasoned Enterprise Architect, you will guide the evolution of our enterprise capabilities and platforms.

You will define and drive the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, technology strategy, and regulatory requirements.

A key aspect of this role is collaborating closely with Solution Architecture, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to deliver unified, secure, and scalable solutions for business customers.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the enterprise architecture across multiple areas, including Business Banking, Merchant and Payment Systems, and premium trading platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing target state architectures and capability models

  • Engaging with senior stakeholders to align architecture with business strategy and priorities

  • Mentoring and supporting Solution Architects, Engineers and other architecture professionals

  • Representing Business Banking in enterprise-wide architecture forums and working groups

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect who has worked in complex and regulated environments. You should have a strong understanding of the business banking domain and proven experience in driving strategic architecture outcomes.

Familiarity with industry-standard architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF) is highly desirable. Knowledge of BIAN industry standard and experience with EA modelling tooling such as BizzDesign would also be advantageous.
