At Searson Buck, we are seeking a highly skilled Claims Officer to join our team. As a Claims Officer, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional client care and support to individuals who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage comprehensive claims from initial assessment to settlement, ensuring timely and fair outcomes for clients.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and assess client eligibility for benefits.
- Develop and implement effective claims management strategies to minimize disputes and optimize client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, adjusters, and medical professionals, to ensure seamless claim processing.
- Provide exceptional client service, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
Requirements:
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to make sound judgments, apply critical thinking, and navigate complex claims scenarios.
- Capacity to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in claims management, customer service, or a related field, with a strong understanding of insurance principles and practices.
- Certificate III in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
