We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Specialist to join our team for an upcoming Shutdown.

This role will involve supervising a team of technicians, overseeing the installation of Workpacks, and liaising with subcontractors and project engineers.

  • Lead a team of Mech Techs (approx. 10 persons per shift)
  • Ensure the successful execution of installation Workpacks in accordance with project specifications and design
  • Liaise effectively with subcontractors, project engineers, and suppliers
  • Supervise installation teams at site, ensuring compliance with QA and reporting processes
  • Assist Project Engineers in reviewing and monitoring construction progress against program and budget
Key Requirements
  • Proficiency with PTW and LOTO procedures
  • Experience with Flange management
  • Ability to use a PC/Laptop for emails, permit prep, printing drawings, etc.
  • Fluency with CCMS software (e.g., Hexagon or PIMS)
  • Motor coupling and rotating equipment expertise (e.g., pump & fan alignments)
  • Nitrogen Leak Testing knowledge
  • Oil & Gas industry experience
