Job Opportunity: Senior Carer Peer Worker

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Carer Peer Worker. This role will facilitate the improvement of mental health and wellbeing service responsiveness for loved ones, carers or chosen families of service users.

  • The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in mental health carer or supporter roles, as well as expertise in providing peer support to individuals who have accessed public mental health services.
  • They will understand mental health peer work support principles and be able to use these principles to provide hope, a belief in recovery and the value of self-care.

About You:

  • Substantial experience in mental health carer or supporter roles.
  • Understanding of mental health peer work support principles.
