Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day financial operations and controls of the business, ensuring that transactions are correctly posted to the company's digital accounting platforms.

The Financial Controller will also play a key role in monitoring, analysing and reporting on cashflow position and external projects. This includes the production of high quality management information and financial reports with commentary for senior management team and investors.

In addition, the FC will ensure compliant and timely financial reporting standards are upheld and work closely with the Finance Director on a range of new and ongoing accounting projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of delivering results-oriented solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience of managing small teams and influencing department heads outside of finance
  • Strong knowledge of financial modelling and accounting principles
  • Excellent IT competencies, including bespoke accounting platforms and general MS office experience
