
Highly Skilled Network Engineer

As a highly skilled network engineer, you will be responsible for tackling complex technical work from switching and wireless through to firewalling and cybersecurity.
You will deliver on-site and remote systems engineering services to diverse customers and provide support as part of a skilled Service Desk team.
Additionally, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the field of networking and internal escalation point for our national team.
Key responsibilities include providing services across multiple vendors and vertical technologies, delivering excellence in Windows and/or Apple focused technology services, and managing end-point software installation and licensing.
- Provide general application support, basic troubleshooting of network connectivity issues, user account creations and deletions, create file sharing connections.
- Work closely with our Service Desk Team to manage customer expectations and resolve highly technical issues in a timely manner.
Must have multiple years of experience in a Senior Network Engineer or similar position, with a strong desire to succeed as a team and share knowledge with fellow engineers.
Also, must be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders in both technical and non-technical capacities, and possess excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
Other qualifications include having strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with a deep level of knowledge in networking, firewalls, switching, and wireless.
Subject matter expertise in all things networking is also required, particularly as a delivery engineer, along with relevant certifications from key networking vendors and products.
BenefitsTravel to on-site locations will be required, and candidates must be Australian residents available to work full-time without restrictions.
Compnow will require successful applicants to complete a current National Police Check and a new or updated state-based Working With Children Check.
