Senior Mobile Application Developer

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team as a Senior Mobile Application Developer. This role involves the development of cutting-edge mobile applications empowering lottery and not-for-profit partners to raise funds for their vital causes.

The successful candidate will be at the forefront of creating innovative mobile application features. The primary focus will be refining and enhancing Android applications serving a large customer base.

  • Implement new features and optimize performance
  • Resolve issues as they arise

Collaboration with engineering managers, product managers, designers, and QA engineers will be key to your success in this role.

We value balance and flexibility and offer a hybrid working model combining in-office collaboration (three days per week) with WFH work (two days per week).

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Proficiency in working within a Mac/Linux development environment
  • Passion for user-centric design and a commitment to enhancing user satisfaction through continuous app improvements
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with strong knowledge of the Android SDK and the challenges of supporting various Android devices and versions
  • Strong understanding of Android UI development, including traditional Views and Jetpack Compose
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems, including conducting and participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
