Role Summary
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the success of our waste operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage a team of collection drivers, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to meet their objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the team, ensuring it is resourced effectively to achieve its goals.
- Monitor and review operations to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
- Liaise with the fleet workshop to ensure the availability of waste collection vehicles.
- Support the implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Ensure safe work practices and vehicle maintenance.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- On-board new drivers efficiently.
Requirements:
About your Skills and Experience- Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate Microsoft Office Suite and learn computer systems.
- Hold a current C Class Driver's Licence.
