Audit and Tax Specialist / Executive Senior / Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage proactively with clients, providing expert financial advisory services.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement audit strategies and plans effectively.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports for further management analysis.
  • Conduct audits on financial statements and reports, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Communicate audit progress, findings, and significant issues to senior management.
  • Assist in the review of financial statements across various branches.
  • Support the establishment of systems and the enhancement of internal controls.
  • Manage assigned audit and tax-related responsibilities as directed by superiors.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members.
  • Participate in professional training and development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills for delivering high-quality client services.
  • A minimum of a Degree or equivalent qualification is required.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS) software is essential.
  • Familiarity with ISQM 1 standards is required.
  • Understanding of e-Invoicing functions is necessary.
  • Proficiency in auditing and tax software (e.g., AuditSME, Audit Express, Superior Tax) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of audit processes and tax procedures is important.
  • Previous leadership experience is a plus.
  • Strong command of English and Mandarin is essential.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.
  • High level of professional integrity, responsibility, and a positive work attitude.
