About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Strata Accountant to manage the financial affairs of multiple properties and play a key role in ensuring compliance and excellence in property management.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in an autonomous environment while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

As our Strata Accountant, you will be at the heart of financial operations, working directly with senior management. You will manage the complete financial lifecycle for multiple properties, from day-to-day bookkeeping to annual compliance requirements, ensuring each property community runs smoothly and transparently.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive financial records and prepare accurate financial statements
  • Process invoices and manage payments for all properties
  • Operate and reconcile bank accounts with precision
  • Issue fee notices and manage collections from property owners in arrears
  • Prepare and lodge business activity statements and tax returns
  • Ensure compliance with property laws and regulations
  • Coordinate annual financial statement audits for prescribed properties

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Highly regarded CPA or CA qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
  • Current Police Check (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong autonomous work capabilities
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
