**Job Overview: Research Innovation Specialist**

This is a challenging and rewarding role at a top Australian university, working on the One Basin CRC project. The position involves collaborating with industry leaders, local governments, and international experts to develop innovative approaches to regional development.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the Project Lead and other chief investigators in all aspects of the research project, including:
  1. Organising and recruiting community participants for workshops, interviews, and surveys
  2. Preparing scientific papers, literature reviews, conference papers, case-study summaries, and other project-related documentation
  3. Providing research project support, including project administration and reporting, internal and external communications, and organising project events

**Requirements:**

- A doctoral qualification relevant to economics or a related discipline, with a record of research or professional activity demonstrating an ability to make an autonomous contribution

- Demonstrated experience in organising and recruiting participants for workshops, conducting in-depth interviews and surveys, and competently analysing data

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships

- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and independently in a large academic setting
