About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park. As a key member of our Housekeeping Department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms and public areas, adhering to high standards of presentation and attention to detail.
  • Thoroughly clean and prepare rooms for guests, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Restock and maintain housekeeping inventory levels, including linen, cleaning supplies, and other essential items.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all guests feel welcome and cared for during their stay.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly, demonstrating your commitment to a flawless guest experience.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Previous experience in a busy commercial environment or hotel, preferably in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • A high level of cleaning standards and attention to detail.
  • Strong motivation to learn and grow within a supportive hotel team.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, with a minimum of 3-5 shifts per week.
  • Valid working rights in Australia, as we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
