About the Opportunity

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who understand and respect the diverse needs of older adults, enhancing their quality of life.

This role supports clients in participating in meaningful activities aligned with their care plans, empowering them to live fulfilling lives as they age and maintain independence.

Key responsibilities include promoting engagement, documenting attendance, assisting with transportation, meal preparation, serving, and cleanup, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

About You

The ideal candidate is highly organised, passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, building rapport with clients through kindness, enthusiasm, and energy, and possessing excellent communication skills.

  • Certificate III Individual Support: A nationally recognised qualification that demonstrates a strong foundation in aged care principles and practices.
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR: Essential certifications that ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
  • Drivers Licence: A necessary requirement for transporting clients to various activities and appointments.
  • Reliable vehicle: A dependable mode of transportation that ensures timely arrivals and departures.
  • Experience working within Aged Care, memory support, dementia, cognitive impairment: A valuable asset that enables the provision of tailored support and care.
  • Certificate IV Leisure and Health, Disability or equivalent: A higher-level qualification that demonstrates advanced knowledge and skills in leisure and health, disability, or related fields.
