The Aboriginal Cultural Tourism Development Specialist will be a subject matter expert, leading initiatives that grow and showcase Aboriginal visitor experiences across NSW.

  • Support and inspire Aboriginal operators and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, authentic visitor experiences.">
  • Advocate for inclusion of Aboriginal cultural tourism across Destination NSW strategies, programs, and marketing.">
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure growth and long-term sustainability of the Aboriginal tourism sector.">

Key responsibilities include developing and delivering initiatives that grow Aboriginal cultural experiences, supporting and inspiring Aboriginal operators and stakeholders, advocating for inclusion of Aboriginal cultural tourism, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in product or visitor experience development, ideally within the tourism, cultural, or lifestyle sector. They should also have knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal cultural tourism development, with experience working alongside Aboriginal stakeholders and communities. Additionally, they should possess excellent relationship-building, facilitation, and communication skills.
