About the Role

Bethanie is a leading not-for-profit aged care provider in Western Australia, empowering ageing Australians to lead their most meaningful lives. We're seeking a dedicated Food and Dining Care Worker to join our team at Bethanie Fields in Eaton.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Monitor food and fluid intake, and assist with daily living routines
  • Understand residents' meal preferences and involve them in the planning of their dining experience
  • Contribute to care planning and review
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment is desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for the wants and needs of older people
  • Ability to understand diverse individual needs and work collaboratively as a team
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Reliable with a good work ethic
  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of The Bethanie Group
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)
