Job Description

As a clinician, you will play a vital role in delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment.

You will work on complex cases with people who have histories of violent and sexual offending, reducing re-offending and making the community safer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive assessments, including risk assessments and clinical interviews.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions employing evidence-based assessment tools.
  • Prepare treatment reports and risk assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses

• A current driver's license

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
