Job Title

A Bus Driver and Maintenance Officer is responsible for transporting individuals with disabilities to appointments and activities, maintaining gardens and grounds at SIL houses, and performing general maintenance and repairs at SIL properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Safe transportation of participants and support workers
  2. Gardening and upkeep of SIL house environments
  3. General maintenance and repair of SIL properties

The successful candidate will have a current NT Driver's Licence (C Class + Manual required), NDIS Clearance Screening Check, National Police Check with current 5-year driving history record, and Current First Aid and CPR certificate. Additionally, they should possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic, ability to drive manual and automatic transmission buses, relevant experience in grounds, garden, and handyman roles, and understanding of Work, Health and Safety practices.
