Pool Lifeguard Position

We are seeking highly motivated and proactive individuals to join our lifeguard team.

As a lifeguard at our centre, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of pool-users. Your focus should be on maintaining a safe swimming environment while providing excellent customer service.

  • Supervising aquatic spaces and anticipating potential problems
  • Maintaining constant observation of pools and patrons
  • Enforcing facility rules while educating users about safe aquatic practices
  • Carrying out interventions to ensure patron safety and wellbeing
Key Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety.

  • Ability to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Effective conflict resolution skills
  • Capacity to remain alert and vigilant in repetitive work environments
  • Excellent multitasking abilities
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Prior experience in aquatics and leisure is advantageous
Essential Certifications

To be successful, you must hold the following qualifications:

  • Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
