Job Summary:

Senior Occupational Hygiene Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Hygiene Consultant to join our team in Darwin. This is a full-time role that involves conducting asbestos and hazardous materials surveys, providing technical advice on health and safety issues, and supervising the removal of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site assessments and surveys to identify potential hazards
  • Developing and implementing control measures to mitigate risks
  • Providing expert advice on occupational health and safety matters
  • Supervising the removal of hazardous materials
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) or ability to gain within a short timeframe
  • Proven experience in occupational hygiene and hazardous materials management
  • Strong consulting background with excellent writing and communication skills
  • HAZMAT survey experience and valid driver's licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Keen interest in ongoing learning and development
