Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team in Tasmania. The successful candidate will deliver community-based mental health care to service users through active therapeutic engagement, regular monitoring, and review of mental state.

The role involves providing discipline-specific clinical expertise, guidance, and support to the team, service users, their families, and carers. You will also facilitate access to a range of appropriate community and inpatient services, ensuring timely and suitable support for individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver targeted brief interventions, support, and psychoeducation to service users, families, and carers
  • Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed assessments, specialized therapies, and treatment interventions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, carers, and other service providers to develop effective care plans
  • Complete all necessary clinical documentation within specified timeframes

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification and registration with a professional organization
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical area directly applicable to mental health services
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check prior to commencement
