As a key player in our team, you will partner with senior leadership to deliver commercial and strategic priorities. You'll provide analysis on projects and day-to-day activities to drive business growth and profitability.

This is an end-to-end partnering role where you will work closely with site leadership teams to identify and deliver initiatives to grow volumes and profitability. You will be responsible for preparing the weekly and monthly management accounts and providing supporting commentary along with financial and operational reports on a daily and weekly basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting senior leaders to manage operations, develop budgets, and provide financial reasoning to inform decision-making.
  • Improving the impact of financial reporting on business performance
  • Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
  • Developing effective commercial procedures or initiating change to ensure key operational, commercial, and financial targets are delivered
  • Maintaining strong relationships with senior managers and their teams

You will also be responsible for:

  • Preparing month end data for the corporate accounting team to meet deadlines
  • Commercial analysis including retail performance, cost efficiency, labour productivity, product category performance, promotional evaluations, customer spending insights
  • Responsibility for the annual budget and rolling forecast process using TM1
  • Business decision support and strategic project support

**Core Skills:** To succeed in this role, you should have experience of:

- Providing insightful analysis of business performance

- Driving recommendations for improvements in profitability to a successful outcome

- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building business partnering relationships in a fast-paced environment

- Providing financial support for business decisions

- Excellent presentation skills, able to translate complex data into clear and concise analysis

**Technical Skills:**

- CA/CPA/MBA qualification

- Advanced MS Excel (including data cubes)

- MS PowerPoint

- TM1

- Infor M3

Preferable but not essential: SQL, MS Power BI
