Job Title:

After-hours Emergency Response Officer


Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and professional After-Hours Emergency Response Officer to support our government contract in the Perth Central District.

This is a night-shift and weekend role, requiring availability to respond to urgent incidents, make sites safe, and coordinate specialist contractors.

We are looking for a minimum of two to four staff members to share the roster and ensure full coverage.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Attend after-hours call-outs promptly, meeting agreed service levels
  2. Assess incidents, implement safety measures, and arrange necessary repairs
  3. Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to coordinate works
  4. Complete clear incident reports with photos and supporting information
  5. Comply with Workplace Health & Safety and fatigue management requirements
  6. Operate company vehicle, tools, and PPE responsibly and professionally

Requirements:
  • Trade, handyman, maintenance, or traffic management background advantageous
  • Physically fit, confident working independently, and calm under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and professional presentation
  • Current WA Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
  • Police clearance or ability to obtain
  • Flexibility for night and weekend work
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Traffic Management Accreditation
  • Previous government or emergency response experience
