We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our team in Melbourne. As a Senior Associate, you will work closely with our leading Partners and be involved in various matters across commercial litigation, restructuring and insolvency.

About the Role

This position offers direct exposure to clients, meaningful involvement across matters, opportunities for progression, and collaboration with global colleagues and clients.

  • Responsibilities include working on complex commercial disputes, class actions, and restructuring and insolvency matters;
  • Drafting and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other documents;
  • Conducting legal research and analysis;
  • Representing clients in court and providing advice on legal issues;
  • Mentoring and sharing experiences with junior colleagues;
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and taking responsibility for these relationships.
Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior Associate across a range of matters in commercial litigation;
  • Relevant experience in a top-tier or leading international law firm;
  • A strong client service focus and commitment to high standards;
  • Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for these relationships;
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity;
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
