Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a qualified electrical maintenance specialist to join our engineering team.

This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of plant and equipment through planned and reactive maintenance, minimising downtime and driving efficiency across industrial operations.

Working closely with production, planners, and contractors, you will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to root cause analysis projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on plant and control systems
  • Support both planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • Contribute to technical expertise on electrical issues to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure safe collaboration with production and contractor teams
  • Complete handovers, reporting, and maintenance documentation accurately
Requirements
  • Qualified electrician with a current QLD electrical licence
  • Industrial manufacturing experience, preferably in food industry
  • Strong knowledge of electrical controls and process systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively and solve problems under pressure
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach
