Job Title: HSE Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our team at Zenergy. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in championing safety and supporting the development of strategies and programs to mitigate safety risks.

About the Role

The HSE Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to influence a strong safety culture and drive the implementation of efficient HSE systems and risk management practices.
  • Developing and implementing risk-based approaches to safety management, with a focus on proactive coaching and regular communication with senior leaders.
  • Embedding change and progressive safety initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on legislative requirements and chain of responsibility.
  • Working closely with the HSE Director to develop and implement HSE strategies and programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a safety role, with a focus on managing health, safety, and environment within a complex organization.
  • A practical approach with strong knowledge of legislative requirements and chain of responsibility.
  • Ability to problem-solve, use judgment, and make appropriate decisions.
  • Demonstrated change management skills, with experience in systems improvement and stakeholder engagement.
  • Preferable experience working within manufacturing or a blue-collar environment.
