Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Product Manager to drive the strategic direction and lifecycle of our core products. This senior role requires a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in product management and leadership, who can set the vision for multiple key products and collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless development and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership and Product Vision: Define and drive product strategy, develop and implement a clear vision for multiple core products, and align with Ampd Energy's overall objectives.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the lifecycle of core products, oversee development, enhancement, and optimization of existing products, and lead new product introductions to meet market demands and company goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, hardware and software product owners, and program management to ensure cohesive integration and alignment across core products.
- Market and Customer Insights: Conduct market research, gather and analyze insights to guide product strategy, improvements, and new developments, and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
- Experience: 12+ years in product management, with extensive experience managing products and leading product strategy.
- Technical Expertise: In-depth understanding of power systems, power electronics, or battery systems, and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; a master's degree or PhD is a plus.
- Strong Leadership and Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to set and execute a clear vision for core products.
- Exceptional Collaboration Skills: Expertise in working closely with engineering teams, hardware and software product owners, and program management.
- Excellent Organizational and Project Management Skills: Capable of managing multiple core products and priorities efficiently.
- Analytical and Data-Driven: Skilled in using data to make informed decisions and drive product improvements.
