Robotics Software Developer

As we continue to push the boundaries of human-robot relationships, a pioneering software engineer is required to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a revolutionary project that will transform how humans interact with technology.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled software engineer to design and implement core robotic software for real-time control and high-level autonomy. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate their code into fully functional robots, deploying to hardware and iterating in the field.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of systems-thinking, practical problem-solving skills, and experience working in fast-paced R&D environments. A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required, along with 2-5 years of professional software development experience.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and optimise core robotic software for real-time control and high-level autonomy.
- Develop systems for perception, sensor fusion, motion planning, and inter-robot communication.
- Integrate software seamlessly with hardware, working hand-in-hand with mechanical, electrical, and design teams.
- Write production-quality code in C++, Python, or Rust, following best practices for performance and maintainability.
- Leverage robotic middleware (ROS2, Zenoh, or custom solutions) to power communication and modularity.
