People Business Partner

Scope is a leading national service provider dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive. We support individuals with physical, intellectual, and multiple disabilities, as well as developmental delays, to achieve their goals. As a registered provider under the NDIS, we deliver a range of services, including supported independent living, short-term accommodation, social connections, and therapy, across 100 locations in Victoria.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled People Business Partner to join our team for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This full-time or part-time (flexible) position will be based in our Hawthorn office and will involve working across our services in Melbourne's inner North East. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing HR partnering and consulting services to an operational client group
- Offering ER/IR support and advice to people managers on industrial and employment matters
- Coaching and guiding managers and business leaders through organizational change and managing performance or misconduct
- Developing the capability of people managers in navigating people matters
- Leading and contributing to various projects and processes across the employment lifecycle
As Scope embarks on significant change and transformation over the next 18 months, collaboration and consultation will be a key focus of this role.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will require:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a business partnering role with ER/IR focus within a service delivery workforce
- Proven experience in supporting change management and IR strategies to guide leaders through change
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills and experience
- Experience with the DSEAV or Disability Support is preferred but not essential
