About this role

Supporting infrastructure equity investments in Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating new infrastructure equity investment opportunities through financial analysis, complex modelling, valuation and sensitivity analysis.
  • Undertaking thorough commercial, operational, financial / tax and legal reviews. Quantifying commercial risks through sensitivity analysis and stress testing under various assumptions.
  • Preparing investment memos, presentations and reports to support decision-making processes. Conducting market research, industry developments and macroeconomic factor analysis that may impact investment performance.
  • Assisting in the deal execution process, including documentation and coordination with advisors.
  • Ongoing monitoring of portfolio assets and conducting routine valuation activities.
  • Supporting investor relations, including preparation of investor presentations, quarterly updates and annual reports.

Required skills and qualifications:

2+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate advisory or infrastructure investments.

Strong financial modelling skills, ability to model complex capital structures associated with infrastructure businesses, and experience with various valuation techniques.

Excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, proficiency in VBA is desirable.
