About the Role

MACA Mining Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead a mobile plant maintenance team in a mining production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of maintenance personnel, including apprentices and sub-contractors, to ensure all tasks are performed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure vehicles and heavy mobile mining equipment are functioning correctly and report any defects to the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute unscheduled work resulting from breakdowns or backlog as directed by the Maintenance Superintendent.
  • Monitor and improve maintenance processes using KPIs and other standard measures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Mechanical Trade Qualification or similar.
  • Extensive experience in breakdowns, diagnostics, and repair abilities across surface mining equipment.
  • Statutory Declaration Training Supervisor Schedule 26.
  • Sound knowledge of mobile plant equipment best practice and operational performance.
