Job Description

As a Home Care Worker with KinCare, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to our customers in their own homes.

You will work independently, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to provide domestic assistance, meal preparation, shopping, social support, and personal care to our customers.

Your day will include:

  • Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and beautiful living environment for our customers.
  • Assisting customers with meal preparation and shopping.
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities.
  • Providing personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medications, assisting with mobility and therapy goals.
  • Providing respite and emotional support.
  • Social support and transport to appointments.
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Previous care worker experience, preferably with personal care experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and use your initiative.
  • Flexibility and availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
