As a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft systems. This role involves performing diagnostic and mechanical duties on jet and turboprop aircraft models, involving diagnoses of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, or adjustment of various aircraft systems.
Key responsibilities include checking, correcting, or replacing complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner systems, pressurization systems, and optional equipment installations. Additionally, you will repair or replace engine components and accessory items, such as fuel control units, air bleed systems, oil and fuel pumps, starter/generators, and hydraulic pumps.
Conducting annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in aircraft maintenance manuals is also a crucial aspect of this role. Furthermore, you will perform modification work on aircraft systems and structures, and be responsible for clear, concise, and accurate written reports in logs, inspection reports, and in parts identification for issue and return documents.
Functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests, and alignment, and preventive maintenance are also part of your duties as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- CASA B1 and Citation type rating/s.
- Highly self-motivated team player.
- Willing to travel.
