Aged Care Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Employee to join our team at Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults, empowering them to live independently and safely in their own homes.
About the Role:
- This is a permanent part-time position, with a minimum of 30 hours per fortnight, offering flexibility and variety in your work schedule.
- You will be responsible for providing individualised care tailored to the needs of each client, including meal assistance, transport, social support, and personal care.
- You will work collaboratively with clients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences.
- This role requires a high level of empathy, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in aged care, working with a highly functional and experienced team.
About You:
- You possess a Certificate 3 in Aged or Individual Support, Community Services, and Disability.
- You have a current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
- You are willing to travel regularly using your own vehicle.
- You have excellent time management skills, reliability, and trustworthiness, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of care and support.
- You are able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing your workload efficiently.
