About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to lead our Water Infrastructure team in South East Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering water infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our clients and the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of water infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate, manage, and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
  • Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects that meet the needs of our clients and the community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients across a range of sectors, providing excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and RPEQ/CPEng registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
  • Experience in leading project/technical teams and knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality work and excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.
