Child Development Specialist

Responsibilities:- You will be responsible for managing your caseload, communicating with families, and implementing therapies in the community or via telehealth.
We're committed to providing the best available care by reducing clinical demands on our clinicians and promoting ethical utilisation rates. Our mobile services cater to children's needs, honing our skills in this area and ensuring excellent client outcomes.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Key Requirements:- A relevant accredited degree in Speech Pathology
- Eligibility and membership with Speech Pathology Australia
- A Current NSW Driver's License and access to a vehicle
- A Current NDIS Worker's Check or ability to obtain one
- Fully vaccinated (3 doses) against COVID-19 or relevant Medical Exemption

Essential Criteria:- Demonstrate the ability to work within a billable model and be accountable for daily activities.
- Show knowledge of and experience in holistic approaches to early intervention.
- Develop functional goals with families and build capacity in their networks to achieve these goals in natural environments.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support children and their families.
- Display skills in working in partnership with local child and family services.
- Show experience working with culturally diverse backgrounds and people with disability.
- Possess effective oral and written communication and organisational skills.
- Have knowledge and experience of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
