Speech and Language Therapist Role

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. The successful candidate will conduct specialist diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD using recognised tools.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and relevant assessment tools for autism and ADHD. Understanding of differential diagnosis is also required.

This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families and adults by providing essential assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialist diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD using recognised tools.
  • Produce timely, professional assessment reports with tailored recommendations and interventions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist
  • Relevant Degree
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Proven experience conducting diagnostic neurodevelopmental or specialist developmental assessments with children and young people
  • Clinical experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health challenges
