We are seeking a skilled Meteorology Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Meteorology Specialist, you will play a key role in presenting weather news and content to engage audiences while conveying accurate information in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Present live and recorded weather content, including forecasting and reporting on major weather events.
  • Collaborate with meteorologists to understand and effectively communicate weather forecasts to the audience.
  • Report in the field during major weather events, utilizing your excellent written and verbal communication skills to present critical information.
  • Pitch news coverage of weather events and stories, leveraging your ability to write and produce engaging content for on-air use.
  • Work as part of a team to develop and deliver weather content, including writing scripts, editing vision, and sourcing guests.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a television presenter or meteorologist.
  • The ability to receive and assess information from meteorologists and communicate it to the audience effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner.
  • The ability to work independently within a broader team environment, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • A willingness to learn complex scientific processes in a short training period.
