Job Title

A learning and teaching leader is responsible for leading teachers in their area of expertise, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead teachers in implementing the school's vision for learning
  • Build teacher capacity and Catholic identity in the school
  • Guide teachers in their area of expertise, working collaboratively with the principal and leadership team
Requirements
  • Commitment to the Catholic ethos and principles
  • Ability to promote and implement contemporary and innovative pedagogies and practices
  • Strong understanding of how to integrate digital technologies into the curriculum
  • High levels of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher
Desirable Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Education
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School
