About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at Monash Health, a leading healthcare provider in Victoria. As a key member of our oncology department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert medical oncology care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Mentor and supervise junior medical staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects
Requirements
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians
  • Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in the management of oncological disease
  • Experience in oncology clinical trials
  • Meets Monash Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in oncology
  • Experience in teaching and involvement in research
  • Experience in writing project applications and supervising project plans
