Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Service Engineer. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, installing and troubleshooting Electron Optics and Analytical Instruments, and promoting company products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installations, maintenances, repairs, and user training as assigned by the Service Manager in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or onsite.
  • Support other engineers with phone assistance when necessary.
  • Maintain Service files, ensuring all relevant documentation is included.
  • Update Solve 360 database as required.
  • Inform the manager of all service issues encountered in the field.
  • Submit reports to the manager upon completion of services and at the end of each week.
  • Assist in promoting company products.
  • Travel interstate and overseas for customer visits.

Requirements:

  • A few years of experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or recent graduates considered.
  • Familiarity with Japanese culture or experience working for a Japanese company is an asset.
  • Degree in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Asian language skills are a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 to $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide reasonable adjustments for individuals with disabilities, including alternate formats for the recruitment process.
