We are seeking an experienced Broadcast Technician to join our Broadcast team at TVSN. The role is predominantly involved in development and integration of new and current systems interfacing between business based networked resources managed by the businesses IT department and the broadcast engineering environment managed by the engineering department.

**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT**:

- Work with conventional broadcast equipment, broadcast robotics and PC based equipment, along with.
- Traditional broadcast equipment suppliers to more boutique one off systems, devices and cloud based services
- Support live production working on a rotating roster supporting live TV hours
- Extensive involvement in the day to day engineering issues around a live television facility
- Mechanical repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Programming and implementation of single board computers and microcontrollers

**WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE**:

- Experience working in same or similar role
- Have worked in a live studio broadcast environment, both studio and OB
- Some knowledge with broadcast robotics systems and automation
- Familiarity with broadcast equipment areas and server rooms, CRAC, UPS, servers, virtual machines and facility power distribution
- CCNA2 essential
- Demonstrable aptitude for mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Basic skills in 2D and 3D CAD
- Understanding of electronic circuits, and component level fault finding
- Knowledge of Programming and implementation of single board computers and microcontrollers.
